There will also be an extraordinary Parish Meeting in St George Church on Sunday 16 August 2026 at 11.15 after the 10.00 morning service at which churchwardens will be formally elected (as no one stood on 31 May). Nomination forms can be downloaded here.
The churchwardens’ role is to ensure that services continue well, buildings are looked after with the guidance of the Archdeacon, Louise Ellis.
In due course, the Archdeacon will also advise on the way forwards, taking into consideration the wider context of the Salisbury Deanery, the ability to pay parish share and the context of the Harnham locality and wider mission especially with the growth in population.
