The Large Hall

The Large Hall has an impressive barrel roof and is ideal for large functions such as wedding receptions, family gatherings, anniversaries, birthday parties, discos, Barbeques, exhibitions, shows, lectures, sports events and club meetings

The Large Hall is used by a variety of local groups during the week for activities ranging from Arts & Crafts to Dancing to Music for the Mind to Table Tennis. The Large Hall shares a commercial grade kitchen with Field View.

Maximum numbers for the Large Hall when used for functions:

• Utilising tables and chairs 100 (10 tables with 60 to 80 people seated is typical)
• Close seated audience 100 (less if putting on a play or presentations with a projector)
• Standing audience 150

Standard hire fee is £36 per hour. The hire rate incudes shared use of the commercial grade kitchen as well as tables, chairs, crockery and cutlery for 100 people. There is no additional charge for parking in the Parish Hall private car park (limit of 20 cars per booking). Discounts are available for regular users during the week, charities and other community events. Minimum hire length is 1.5 hours with additional time charged in 0.5 hour increments.
