OLD TESTAMENT –  Autumn reflections/ Zoom discussions

18th October – An introduction to the Old Testament led by Canon David Durston.

15th November – Key themes of the Old Testament led by Canon David Durston.

These reflections will be live in our morning services and recorded for Harnham Parish YouTube.

On Monday 19th October and Monday 16th November there will be the opportunity to discuss these reflections with David and Revd Becky via pre-booked zoom meetings. You can chose between 3pm and 7pm.To make the most of the discussion time spaces are limited to 6 at each session so that all participants can feel involved.   Please let Linda Baker  know your preferred time of afternoon or evening when booking. Is a ladies group which meet at 7.30pm on the second Thursday of the month usually in the meeting room at the hall.   Currently due to Covid 19 the group are meeting via zoom.

It is an opportunity to meet socially over a drink and then to discuss a topical and/or theological issue of interest.  The meeting on 8th October was discussing the theme of What does it mean to be good?

Is a men’s group which meets from 8.00pm on the second Wednesday of the month in the Oak Bar at the Rose & Crown Hotel.  It is an opportunity to meet socially over a pint (or a glass of wine) and then to discuss a topical and/or theological issue of interest.  Over the year we have covered topics including assisted dying, the Thirty Nine Articles of Religion, creation ex nihilo (out of nothing), Baptism, the Creeds and Heaven & Hell.  We offer a warm welcome to new participants, either regular or occasional
